Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Gabriela Meise moved to the United States with her family at a young age. Gabi’s childhood in Brazil fostered her love of beauty, faith in natural healing, and respect for the mind, body and spirit. While studying pre-medicine and anatomy as a young adult, Gabi was plagued by skin challenges. After consulting with countless dermatologists and aestheticians and never experiencing lasting results, Gabi devoted her future to skin care. Gabi graduated from the prestigious AVEDA School de Bellas Artes and became a licensed aesthetician in 1998. Mastering the practice of corporate skin care as an aesthetician and manager for AVEDA Spas, Gabi realized a predetermined “menu of services” approach did not adequately address the needs of many of her clients. Inspired by their skin concerns, Gabi devoted her energy and talents to creating and pioneering an innovative approach to skin care. An approach based in customized, personalized care. Gabi then joined a team of dermatologists and plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills to gain insight into the latest innovations in advanced skin care and medical aesthetics. In the span of a few months, Gabi became one of the most sought after aestheticians in Los Angeles. In 2003, Gabi opened her private facial studio to better provide exclusive care to her growing clientele. Gabi established GABI MEISE SKINSTUDIOS in 2005 with the opening of additional locations in West Hollywood and Simi Valley. Through GABI MEISE SKINSTUDIOS, Gabi also offers expert consulting advise to other spas and trains aestheticians in her innovative practice. Gabi has been featured on Lifetime Television and was named “Best in LA” by Allure Magazine. Gabi's journey of discovery connects her with pioneering stylists, nutritionists, trainers and healers.
